In John 15:15, Jesus tells his servants...I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
As a disciple, I am a friend of Jesus Christ. I work for him, with him, beside him. We are working for the same goal and that is to point lost souls to their Savior. Do we labor together in love, my brothers and sisters? Or are we constantly bickering about which side of the throne we want to sit on? Proverbs tells us that a friend loves at all times.
You are a friend of Jesus Christ. He loves you at all times and accepts you. He invites you to be his disciple right now.
Lord, thank you for calling us to walk with you as a disciple and friend and thank you for the provisions along the way toward home.

It is amazing to me as well, Paulette, that God would consider me a "Friend". What an awesome priviledge that is! By the way, Colorado is just as gorgeous as California. Those mountains are absolutely stupendous.
Blessings on your new blog.
Hugs back at you!
Sweet words, Paulette. You're doing this blog thing. YEAH!
Hey, Paulette, I'm proud of you! You're off to a great start.
Yea, I often am awed by the love and friendship we find in Jesus. Sometimes it burdens me to realize how unworthy I am of that privilege.
Blessings!
